Testimonies
Sylane Mack’s ability to share her genuine forgiveness while expressing the trauma of her past is an extraordinary gift. She described the power and influence of her faith in a very powerful and profound way.

Lydia is joyful and energetic and at the same time very humble and passionate when sharing the Truth of God’s Grace. Her vulnerability to share Jesus’ redeeming and equipping power in her own life allows others to understand and believe that there is nothing nor anyone God cannot use for His glory. I am so blessed to call Lydia my friend and sister in Christ.

I first knew Lydia as a student in a Bible Study I was teaching. Her joy in the Lord enriched all of us in the class. Even after she left the class, we have continued to meet monthly to encourage each other in the Lord. I have seen her mature in her faith to where the Lord is now using her to minister to others as a teacher and speaker. Life has not always been easy for Lydia, but God has always been faithful. Lydia shares from her heart and life experiences how God can give us true joy no matter what happens to us if we trust in Him.

Bible Teacher and long-time friend
As we worked together for five years in ministry, Sylane showed me her sincere faith and desire to honor God in various ways. She was always willing to serve, both behind the scenes or using her gift with words–as she often did at our CBS opening sessions or while facilitating at our 1996 Leadership Council Retreat. Through her ministry Sylane freely shares the abundant love of Christ with others.

Sylane has a wonderful gift and ministry to help people understand God’s calling and stay focused on doing His will. Our local Board of Directors for The Upper Room’s Walk to Emmaus was truly blessed to have her guide us during a leadership retreat. Sylane’s compassion, grace and insight proved to be an effective reminder that the Joy of the Lord is in everything we do, no matter how tedious or overwhelming the job may seem. I am honored to call her friend and fellow Christian.

Rachel Mack is truly dedicated to serving the Lord and certainly devoted to her husband Jim and son Levi. She shares about circumstances in her life that went from being very planned out, quiet and comfortable to a life of daily changes. Rachel shares from her heart how the Word of God can be used to help us cope with everyday trials and those unforeseen crises that God allows into our lives to draw us closer to Him, for His honor and glory.
