I am so thankful to have brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ who pray for me. Knowing that God put me on their minds, and in their prayers, helps to encourage me…and challenge me to be more like Christ…it helps me to live more intentionally as a follower of my Lord Jesus Christ.

Recently, a friend who knew that some extra demands—some God-sent opportunities—had just come my way, sent me this verse:

…and your strength will be equal to your days.

Deuteronomy 33:25

This verse came as the blessing pronounced by Moses on the tribe of Asher—one of the twelve tribes of Israel—just before he died. What a powerful, encouraging blessing this must have been for them to receive this blessing of strength from this man of God. And what a powerful, encouraging word this was for me from a woman of God who was lifting me in prayer for the strength that I need!

We all need strength. And when we allow our Lord Jesus to lead us and fill us, we can be sure that we will have the strength we need for every thought, every word, every action and every relationship…every day of our lives.
